Charity Work

Every year we choose to give a percentage of our profits to Farm Sanctuary, an organization dedicated to fighting against the disastrous effects of animal agriculture on animals, the environment, social justice and public health through rescue, education, and advocacy.

Farm Sanctuary has provided a safe haven for thousands of rescued farm animals. The organization also raises awareness through classroom education and through social media on the impact of factory farming and of the profound consequences it has on not only the animals, but on humans and our planet.

Farm Sanctuary advocates through a diverse coalition of organizations and endorses the Farm System Reform Act (FSRA) (HR 797 / S 271), legislation that restricts the expansion and abuses of factory farms.

“The fight to make sure all sentient beings are treated with love, kindness, and respect, and not raised in torturous conditions simply for your plate is a passion of mine,” says Lindsey.  “I am plant based for life for ethical reasons and I want to reach as many people as possible with education, compassion, and kindness.”

Sweet Pea’s Stems envisions a world where sanctuary replaces exploitation. I hope you check out this wonderful organization: www.farmsanctuary.org
