Dinnerplate dahlia in a perfect pale blushy cream color. Show stopper is an understatement. I wish I could have an entire farm just dedicated to this one dahlia alone.The 8 inch large fluffy blooms can get so heavy that they fall over, so give this diva a plant support. Note that because this is a rooted cutting and not a tuber, that a little extra TLC with nutrients and fertilizer along with lots of water to help the babies get established is necessary since the nutrients are not coming from a mother tuber like other dahlias typically grown from a tuber.

The advantage of a cutting vs. a tuber is earlier blooms with easier establishment. The disadvantage to a cutting is that they typically produce less tubers (only if you care about reproduction for the following season and are digging up your tuber clumps each fall)
